Ducati Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak Edition launched in India. The special edition motorcycle draws inspiration from Ducati’s victories in ‘Pikes Peak International Hill Climb’, the most challenging hill climb races in the world. The Multistrada 1200 comes with a price tag of Rs. 20,06,000. (ex-showroom Delhi).

After a historic Rocky Mountain race, The bike is named as 2016 Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak. It is differentiated from the standard Multistrada 1200 S by dedicated components like a fully adjustable Ohlins fork and premium quality TTX36 rear shock. Ultralight carbon fibre componentry and the Ducati Performance Termignoni carbon fibre silencer, enhance the motorcycle’s competitive spirit. The bike also features Cornering ABS, Cornering Lights on the full-LED headlight, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Traction Control and Cruise Control.

With its race inspired looks and cutting edge technology, the Pikes Peak is in a league of its own and we’re sure enthusiasts will appreciate this version of the Multistrada.”

Multistrada 1200 is powered by a 1,198 cc L-Twin Testastretta engine mated with a 6-speed transmission. Multistrada 1200 has 160PS and 136 Nm of torque in store. The standard equipment of the Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak edition includes cornering ABS, full LED headlight system with cornering lights, traction control, cruise control, wheelie control, etc. The motorcycle is also equipped with Ducati Multimedia System with Bluetooth connectivity which allows the rider to connect a smartphone and manage key multimedia functions using the color TFT display on the instrument console and buttons on the switch gear.

The bike will available in white red and black livery with Ducati Red chassis members.
The spicial edition will available in India across Ducati’s showrooms in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru.
