Honda is goining to re-introduce the Honda Civic in India. Yoichiro Ueno, the President & CEO of Honda Cars said that the civic is one model that the company introduce in India.
The Honda Civic (8th generation) failed in India due to the buyer’s preference. And due to that the Honda Civic was discontinued in Aug. 2012.The looks and new shapes are extremely attractive. According to older versions, the new Civic has built relative lower and wider. The interior has been built for entire extravagance and comfort. The cabin has been set up really well. The leather fabricated seats with well off folding seats are making it luxurious and spacious.The chrome finished grills and the stylish bumpers are elaborating the looks. The chrome grills have been made honey comb webbed. The door handles have been kept colored and synchronized. The tail lamps have been refurbished. The front headlights are being launched with halogen having automatic on and off technology.
The powerful 1789 cc diesel engine comes with 6 way manual transmission gear box. The car would be provided a moderate power of 118 bhp while the engine mill would churn at 4000rpm. The mileage is something which would not be fascinating much. The car would deliver around 13 kmpl- 16 kmpl. It has got a 50 L fuel tank. The front and rear disc brakes have been paid more attention with some improvement in suspensions as well. Advanced inputs for passenger safety have also been provided with dual front air bags and child lock system. A special system, ECON is provided by the assistance of which the car would be driven in a more friendly way.
The rear bumber is so stylish. The driver seat can be adjest the seat hight also. The air conditioning system comes as an automatic climatic control. The car would be come into market with eight color variants to choose from. The inside looks are extremely sporty compared to the exterior adding worth to the car.
Now the Japanese carmakers introduce the all new Honda Civic 2016 in the Malaysian market. We can expect the same model will come in India too. Asper Malaysian launch, there are three variants
- Civic 1.8
- Civic 1.5 Turbo
- Civic 1.5 Turbo Premium.
The launching of new Honda Civic is not decided yet. we can expect the launch in last of 2016 or will be on 2017 itself.
