Honda launched an upgraded version of Activa 125. The upgraded version is named as ‘Frontastic’. The upgraded version comes with Automatic Head Lamp On (AHO) and Bharat Stage-IV emission norms. It is the first 125cc automatic scooter in India equipped with Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer technology. The Equalizer in Honda’s Combi Brake System (CBS) distributes braking force proportionately between front and rear wheels simultaneously by pressing just the left lever. This results in reduced braking distance & improved balance, leading to more confident riding compared to conventional braking.
The Activa 125 Frontastic now comes with the new LED position lights, front chrome chest and a larger 3D Honda emblem, new Mobile charging socket, telescopic suspension, longer & wider seat, 12” front rim, longer wheelbase, upright sitting posture, CLIC mechanism (Convenient Lift up Independent Cover) and ample storage space. .
Frontastic will available in five colors Matt Crust Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Midnight Blue Metallic, Black, Rebel Red Metallic. On customer demand, Honda has now introduced a new mid variant, alloy wheels with drum brakes.
On the event, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Activa 125 is No. 1 selling 125cc automatic scooter of India with over 6 lakh customers and counting. Invigorating the segment once again, Honda’s Activa 125 is now the first automatic scooter in India to meet both the AHO and BS-IV norms. Having completely new Frontastic looks with compelling combination of new LED position lights and chrome chest, the new Alloy variant and added convenience features; we are confident that the all new Activa 125 will strengthen its leadership even more in 2017-18.”
