Tata motors showcased a concept car during the Geneva Motor Show 2014. The car was named as “Hexa”. After the Expo Hexa has been caught testing a few times on Indian roads. And at the Auto Expo 2016, Tata showcased the Hexa as a Near production version.
The Tata announced that they will launch at least two of their product every year. In this year we can see the launch of Tata Tiago and the Hexa.
From the first look itself we can identify that the Hexa has been designed very well in Indian Market. And also the Hexa carries a new Tata design language.The new crossover features big grilles, sweptback headlamps, and a large bumper while the rear features LED tail-lamps for premium effect.
Tata will also feature equipment like touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, Terrain management system similar to the Land Rover and more. This will become the most premium car carrying the Tata logo when launched.
Powering the Hexa will be a 2.2-litre four-cylinder VARICOR diesel engine that Tata has launched with the Safari Storme. The engine produces 154 bhp of maximum power along with 400 Nm of maximum torque. The standard version will be rear wheel drive set-up while the 4X4 option will be an option.
Tata will launch the new product in June replacing the Tata Aria.
