Tata Motors plans to launch a new car “Kite 5”. We can now expected to get replace of the Indica and Indica eCS by Kite 5. ata will showcase the car at the 2016 Auto Expo.
The Tata Kite sedan will come with a newly-developed 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Revotron-derived petrol and a 1.05-litre turbocharged diesel engine options. These power mills are borrowed from the Tiago hatchback.
This will also make it more refined, powerful and fuel efficient than the Indigo eCS. The petrol motor is capable of producing a maximum power output of 83.8bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 114Nm at 3,500rpm.
